How To Get The Most Out Of Your Tires
As we’ve said, over and over it’s important to care for your tires! Inspections, rotations, alignments, and even replacements are needed to ensure your time on the road is safe while offering the longest life and best possible ride.
Our team feels it is important that your tires perform well and are safe to be on the road. Routine maintenance is sometimes not enough to get the most out of your tires. So, we’ve put together a few tips to extending the lifespan of your tires, so they can continue to take you on every errand, drive to work, or vacation for miles to come.
A major key is wheel alignments, they are a must. The impacts from the road including speed bumps, potholes, and curbs that your tires face can cause your alignment to be adjusted. When your tires are not properly aligned it will wear your tires more excessively. Getting alignments will help ensure the life and ride of your tires on an everyday basis.
Tire rotations are also necessary to maintain the life of your tires. Tires will always wear down, so keeping up with normal rotations is also important. You can talk with your service writer, Gary or Tim to find out how often your specific tires should be rotated. Average rotations are every 6,000 miles.
As great as our team is, we don’t want you to just rely on us to take care of your tires. There are a few easy things you can do to keep an eye on your tires and how they are wearing and performing between your routine auto maintenance. One of the first things you can do is regularly look at your tires. Look for low pressure, any cracks, nails and low tread. If you didn’t already know, low tire pressure can be a main cause of early tire wear and can also affect your fuel economy. If you see any of these issues stop in or give us a call, we are here to help!
Caring for your tires with routine maintenance is as important as the routine maintenance on the rest of your vehicle. Let’s do it together to get the most out of your vehicle for years to come.
Drive Safe… Charlie
"Diagnosed the problem, replaced the bad hose and finished the entire service within 2 hours. They were honest and fair with the price. No hidden fees added. Traveled from Anthem to have truck serviced as I use to bring old vehicle here. Worth the drive to be treated so nicely and to have honest work done. They are my #1 go to people for servicing. I highly recommend them to all who read this." Rich S.
