Do you have a savings account? Do you have an emergency fund?
I had a big takeaway from the recent hurricanes experienced in Texas Florida, and Puerto Rico which made me think more about doing what we can to be a little more prepared.
On a smaller level than the hurricanes I have been thinking about all of us and our everyday lives and what hurdles we can unexpectedly encounter.
How would you be impacted if you lost several weeks of revenue due unforeseen circumstances such as rain?
Having a "rainy day fund" is important, because eventually, IT WILL RAIN.
Whether or not the storm is coming isn't the question. The question is: "Will you be prepared WHEN it does? We are always here to help and do our part to keep you and your vehicle on the road.
Understanding the importance of regular maintenance is the start. Keeping up with the small things such as oil changes, system flushes, tire rotation and brake checks can be the step to save you from having to use that “rainy day” fund on major vehicle expenses.
I can’t stress enough how doing the little things (that we all keep putting off) can end up being so major in the long run. Even just a quick drop by for an inspection can be helpful a couple times a year before summer and holiday road trips. The last thing you want to happen is to break down when you are heading on vacation or to Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving.
Take a moment, get out your calendar and your phone and call us to schedule your next road trip inspection or maintenance you know you need!
Bit of information from Charlie, until next time…
"Diagnosed the problem, replaced the bad hose and finished the entire service within 2 hours. They were honest and fair with the price. No hidden fees added. Traveled from Anthem to have truck serviced as I use to bring old vehicle here. Worth the drive to be treated so nicely and to have honest work done. They are my #1 go to people for servicing. I highly recommend them to all who read this." Rich S.
